By the way I'm from the island of Palau but I reside in Guam. Thanks for sharing our countries history to the world out there :).

By the way, traditionally speaking a Ngasech was never intended for men but only for women. The grooms family (women only) can go to the ngasech and see the bride and what she looks like seeing if the lady who gave her a hot bath did a great job at making her beautiful and radiant. That is also why the women go topless. Plus there's no need for music and invitations. Just like the world is evolving and getting worse many of our island songs are now a bit more degrading and men are even going which is a big shame. if I were to have a ngasech one day I would love to go traditional.
