Eviction Update

Just an update that my move has been delayed.  Apparently one of the incoming teachers has yet to be hired, so that means I will not be displaced just yet.  They said they would give me a one-week warning when/if that person is hired.  During the discussion the point was raised (by me) that the incoming teacher is on a one-year contract and is being hired by Zamami (instead of the prefecture), so they have the same standing as I do.  I didn't push it too far at the time because I was so happy to get to stay here a bit longer, but I do plan to question why a teacher who is on equal ground as me have the priority to this apartment?

Here's to hoping they can't hire another teacher.
